Over 33 Years of Experience, Built on Trust
Throughout my career in commercial flat roofing, I’ve always believed that building good relationships with customers is just as important as carrying out the roofing work itself.
Since starting in the roofing industry in 1990, I’ve worked with commercial property owners, property managers, schools, churches and non-profit organisations across the UK and Canada.
Over the years, I’ve been involved in everything from small roof repairs and maintenance programmes to major commercial roof replacements.
One thing I’ve learned is that customers want straightforward advice. They want to understand the condition of their roof, what needs repairing, what options are available and how much the work is likely to cost.
They also want to know that somebody will be there to answer questions and deal with any concerns after the project has been completed.
The following professional references come from customers and organisations I’ve worked with during my roofing career.
They reflect my personal experience and the relationships I’ve built over the years.
Professional Reference: E14 Consulting and Facility Services
In June 2026, Elden McNaughton, Owner of E14 Consulting and Facility Services, provided me with a professional recommendation following more than seven years of working together on roofing projects in Alberta.
During that time, I was involved in multiple projects for a large church, an elementary school and a secondary school.
His recommendation highlights several things I’ve always considered important when working with customers: understanding their requirements, respecting their budgets, providing clear quotations and remaining available throughout the project and warranty period.

To whom it may concern,
I am pleased to provide my strongest recommendation for Peter Coscolin as a trusted
expert in commercial roofing. He has consistently demonstrated the specialized
expertise needed to handle complex roofing needs with confidence and
professionalism. Based on his proven track record, he delivers exceptional results for
any organization seeking reliable roofing support.
Peter Coscolin brings particular value to non-profit organizations, schools, and
churches, where he understands the unique priorities of each setting. He is mindful of
budget constraints while remaining attentive to the mission-driven focus that guides
these important institutions. His commitment to quality and integrity provided me
confidence to work with Peter over 7 years on multiple roof projects for a large church,
an elementary school and a secondary school.
In every project, Peter demonstrates a professional approach marked by meticulous
attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility. We were able to trust Peter to be
responsive through all stages of the project including the warranty stage. We also
trusted his bid process. We were never suprised by a sudden upcharge or faced
expenses that were beyond the scope and contingency. Hiring Peter and his team
gives an organization a trusted partner.Elden McNaughton

Commercial Roofing References From Alberta
Before moving to British Columbia, I spent many years working with customers throughout Alberta, including during my time with West Point Roofing.
My work involved inspecting existing roofing systems, discussing repair and replacement options, preparing quotations and helping customers understand the work being proposed.
The following references were provided by customers during that period.
Although the projects were completed through West Point Roofing, the references specifically mention my personal involvement, advice and communication with the customers.
Karl Hager Ltd. | Commercial Roofing
One of the commercial references I received during my time in Alberta came from Karl Hager Ltd. in Edmonton.
The reference discusses roofing concerns at the property, the importance of responding to problems and keeping the customer informed.
It also describes my involvement in communicating with the customer, arranging inspections and helping coordinate the necessary work.
For commercial building owners, I believe this is particularly important. Roofing problems can affect business operations, and customers need clear information about what is happening and how the problems will be addressed.
Commercial roofing reference provided during my previous employment in Alberta.
Jasper Catholic Church | Commercial Roof Replacement
Working with schools, churches and non-profit organisations has been an important part of my roofing career.
These organisations often have to manage their buildings within strict budgets, making it particularly important to explain the different roofing options and the long-term costs involved.
The reference from Jasper Catholic Church describes my involvement in reviewing the existing roof, discussing the available roofing systems and helping the church understand the proposed replacement.
It also covers the quotation process, communication and my involvement after the installation had been completed.
For me, this is what commercial roofing should be about: helping customers make informed decisions rather than simply selling them a new roof.
George Belter | 23,000 Sq. Ft. Commercial Roof Replacement
Larger commercial roof replacements require careful planning, particularly when a building remains occupied and operational during the work.
This Alberta project involved the replacement of approximately 23,000 sq. ft. of roofing.
The customer’s reference discusses the quotation process, the questions raised before the work started and my involvement in explaining the proposed roofing system.
It also describes the customer’s experience during the project and the final inspection after the work was completed.
I believe customers should be comfortable asking questions before committing to a major roofing investment.
Understanding the proposed materials, installation process and expected performance of a roofing system is an important part of making the right decision.

What I’ve Learned From Working With Customers
After more than 33 years in the roofing industry, I’ve seen how important communication and trust are when dealing with commercial roofing projects.
Every building is different, and not every roofing problem requires the same solution.
Sometimes a complete roof replacement is necessary. Other times, targeted repairs or a properly planned maintenance programme can extend the useful life of an existing roof.
My approach has always been to explain what I’ve found, discuss the available options and help customers understand the advantages and limitations of each.
I also believe that the relationship with a customer shouldn’t end when the roofing work is finished.
Follow-up inspections, maintenance and dealing with warranty concerns are all part of looking after a roofing system over the long term.
The references on this page reflect the approach I’ve tried to maintain throughout my career.
